Memorizing Scripture V3:8

Psalm 27:14 "Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD."

I am a planner! I like to have a schedule of when things are going to happen, and I like to check things off of my to-do list. During this slow adoption process, I can't do any of that.

I have learned, relearned, and am still trying to master waiting on the Lord. His timing is always perfect, and His plans are always better than mine!

Psalm 27:14 will be a great reminder to trust in the Lord's timing! He is SO faithful!

Please pray with us for the right timing and moving forward with the adoption process. Thank you!

#hartzeveryday2015 Week 14

Day 92: The cutest bunny I've ever seen and total mom fail at Jackson's baseball practice. At least I had extra diapers and wipes:)

Day 93: Jackson created the top part all by himself. So thankful he knows the truth! At the cross we are healed and set free. Oh how he loves us, His love ran red!

Red, yellow, orange, and blue
Dying eggs is fun with you!

Day 94: Easter Egg Hunt at church with friends.

Day 95: Easter goodies! One was more excited about the treats and the other his watch!

Day 96: When Daddy is in charge you may get a text of them eating at McDonald's!

Day 97: He was so excited his teacher let him check out Jack and Annie from the library. He read to me all the way home and finished the book right after dinner. Love his excitement for reading and the expression, phrasing, and self correction he was using!

Day 98: Jackson finally lost a tooth at school #4. Papa also flew in for a few days. So, of course the boys went fishing!

Easter 2015

I believe in the son
I believe in the risen one
I believe I overcome
By the power of his blood

Amen
Amen
I'm alive
I'm alive
Because He lives
Amen
Amen
Let my song join the one that never ends
Because He lives
I was dead in the grave
I was covered in sin and shame
I heard mercy call my name
He rolled the stone away
Amen
Amen
I'm alive
I'm alive
Because He lives
Amen
Amen
Let my song join the one that never ends
Because He lives
Because He lives
I can face tomorrow
Because He lives
Every fear is gone
I know He holds my life my future in His hands
Amen
Amen
I'm alive
I'm alive
Because He lives
Amen
Amen
Let my song join the one that never ends

Because He lives
Because He lives

Happy Easter!

#hartzeveryday2015 Week 13

Day 85: Spirit Night at Spring Creek BBQ. I even received a $2 tip from an older couple:)

Day 86: Another 9 weeks of smiley faces for Jackson! Lincoln only cares about the ice cream. Ha!

Day 87: We spent the day at a friend's beach house fishing and playing at the beach.

Day 88: Love his smile and being his mom!

We played hard yesterday, so we had to work hard after church!

Day 89: When the blow dryer turns on, Lincoln comes running. He laughs with glee when I pick him up, silly boy!

Day 90: Check out my new ride! Who said they would never drive a minivan? Eating my words:)
Praises to God for providing us with an amazing deal.

Day 91: Love my quiet time and Beth Moore's Scripture Memory Team.

Memorizing Scripture V3:7

Joshua 1:2
"Now then, (Hartzlers) get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give you. I will give you every place where you set your foot."

God is guiding us every step of the way in this adoption process. We are ready to cross the "Jordan" probably many "Jordans" with Him as our strength and song. We are ready to discover the Power of His Name, become more dependent on Him and less on our own abilities, and have our hearts stripped of any remnants of pride and judgement of others. He will be faithful like He has always been and take out to the other side, giving us what we need along the way, and never leave our side.

Later in this chapter He commands us several times to "Be strong and courageous." Thankful to serve a God who will be with me wherever I go.
