#Hartz2021 Week 22

A little bit of what we have been up to June 15-22...

Vacation Week Part #2

We made it to Omaha to camp at Mahoney State Park with my parents for the week.
We were able to fish a little bit Monday night.
My dad always bringing me my favorite candy from back home!
Ready for a fun week!
Tuesday:Our first full day we went horseback riding at Platte River State Park, just down the road from where we were camping.
Garrison leading the pack.

Lincolne was nervous and quiet the whole ride but said he had fun.

He got to ride Clyde the biggest horse there.
We climbed Lincoln tower!
I found the cutest coffee shop in town.
Great coffee, smoothies, and muffins!
Meanwhile, Jackson and Brian went downtown to watch the Olympic Swimming Trials.
Big smile for Jackson!
Our campground had a water park so we checked it out one afternoon.
The slides were ok, but the wave pool was the biggest hit!
All the boys!
Wednesday: Jackson was able to participate in a swim camp with Olympian Josh Davis, also the coach of Oklahoma Christian College two mornings.
My dad, Garrison, and I met Jackson downtown for the Olympic Trials in the morning. Got my coffee on the way.:)
So thankful we were able to take Jackson!
He was in heaven!

Between prelims and finals, we headed back to the campgrounds and went hiking and found a small waterfall.

Lincoln stayed with Papa and Grandma, and we headed back downtown to hang out before and see if we could get some autographs for Jackson.
Having some fun!
We were able to get a few autographs:
Melanie Margalis
Matt Grevers
Cullen Jones
Cody Miller-Jackson's favorite breast stroker
Nic Fink
We had a blast cheering on all the swimmers at the Olympic Trials! Loved getting to experience it with Jackson. His excitement was unmatched! It’s his goal to be back swimming himself one day.🇺🇸
