Easter Fun

Jackson had an Easter Egg hunt at school on Thursday.

We spent some time doing our own version of the Resurrection Eggs. Jackson would sit down and tell his own story with the eggs.

We did Easter baskets on Friday.
Lincoln was a fan!
Of course Jackson was excited!

We also dyed some eggs. Still haven't eaten any of them!
We made Peep S'mores! They were yummy!
We had a great Easter weekend!

Last year with a belly and this year with Lincoln!

Happy Easter

Who breaks the power of sin and darkness
Whose love is mighty and so much stronger

The King of glory, the King above all Kings

Who shakes the whole earth with holy thunder
Leaves us breathless in awe and wonder
The King of glory, the King above all Kings
This is amazing grace

This is unfailing love

That You would take my place

That You would bear my cross

You laid down Your life
That I would be set free
Jesus I sing for all that You've done for me
Who brings our chaos back into order
Who makes the orphan a son and daughter
The King of glory, the King of glory
Who rules the nations with truth and justice

Shines like the sun in all of its brilliance

The king of glory, the King above all Kings

Worthy is the lamb who was slain
Worthy is the King who conquered the grave

Easter Bunny 2014

This weekend we took the boys out to the mall for a picture with the Easter Bunny. Of course, we went to Bass Pro for the free one.
We got there at a perfect time. They were starting an Easter Egg Hunt. Jackson had fun finding a few eggs through out the store and coloring a plaster egg for the refrigerator.

Lincoln loves looking at the fish just like his brother!
 Love him!
 So sweet!
 Such a great store!

11 Months of Lincoln

Another month closer to ONE!
He weighs somewhere around 22 pounds and around 30 inches long. He wears mostly 12-18 month clothes. His sleep is hit and miss! Some nights are better than others.
He still has six teeth and is a great eater! He eats just about everything we do. He loves waffles, oatmeal, and cereal bars for breakfast. His favorite so far is grilled cheese. He can put a whole sandwich away! His teachers always comment on how well and how much he eats. Sounds just like his big brother, Jackson!
He got another ear infection and croup this month. We are praying that is it for a while! He can now pull himself up. He will take a few steps if we are holding his hands. He is quick and into everything!
Lincoln,
You are such a sweet boy with a big personality! You make me smile all day long. You are funny! You are content to play by yourself sometimes and other times I can't walk away without your crying. You think your brother is the best and love him paying attention to you. I am holding on to the times I get to hold and rock you to sleep. I love praying over you and watching you sleep. I am so thankful God gave you to us!
Love, Mommy

Bluebonnets

After 8 years of living in Texas, we finally have some bluebonnet pictures.
We went to a coworker's ranch, and they pulled us out to the field on a tractor wagon. Jackson thought that was great. We weren't there long and just started snapping pictures. Jackson just wanted to run through the flowers, so we let him. I didn't think we got many good shots, but once I went through them I love a bunch of them!

LOVE my boys!

Running free!

Sweet boys!

He wanted to eat all the bluebonnets.

SO happy!
Are we done yet?
Can't wait to some of these printed!
