#hartzChristmas2016 Santa's Wonderland

Early in December we visited Santa's Wonderland. We went on a school night hoping it wouldn't be too busy, and it was perfect!

It was snowing and cold!

Pretending it really is snowing and waiting for Santa!

The boys wanted to ride the train first, and since there was no line they rode it a couple of times.

Next up was the hayride!

 We even got to ride it again before we left because there was no line!

Lincoln was super excited to ride the pony, and then it did a weird jerk and scared him. He screamed the whole ride. That was a great way to spend $7, ha!

Some hot apple cider, cookies, and kettle corn to end a pretty great night!

 We had a blast making memories together with a few meltdowns thrown in!

This time of year is so special to me! I love soaking up their smiles, excitement, and pure joy!

But, even more I love the Christmas story and how it brings true hope, joy, and love to us all!!

Day 344: Crazy Christmas show!

Day 346: Flour everywhere!!

Day 347: Oh Lincoln! He has been singing the songs for a month, but he was not having it tonight. He was cute though!

Day 348: Lincoln threw up last night and we maybe got 2 hours of sleep. He helped me with sub plans, and then we cuddled and slept all day!

Day 349: Blessed beyond measure by these sweet students!

Day 339: It was a house divided today! Sorry Jackson, you should have wore your Matthews jersey!

Day 343: We were all going to go look at lights, but Jackson threw up. Lincoln really wanted to go so I took him, and about 5 minutes into our drive it was super quiet.

Day 330: The boys picked out their ornaments for the year or instruments as Lincoln kept calling them!

Jackson picked a lantern because he lies camping and we went several times this year. Lincoln picked a robot because...well he is Lincoln!

Day 331: Christmas cards and coffee

Day 332: What a great Thanksgiving break! My heart is full!

Day 333: It was a great day back, made even sweeter by these 2 essays written by a former and current student.

Day 334: He sure loves helping me bake, and he tells me he likes to eat while he helps!

Day 335: Give this kid anything that he can tie things up with and he is happy.

Thanksgiving break: Waco Trip

We decided to stop by Waco and spend the night on our way home from camping over Thanksgiving break.

We got to the hotel, showered, and headed right to the Magnolia Market. 

I loved everything about it! 

 Cute, fun atmosphere, 

They have a great field for the kids to play with equipment, swings, and lots of food trucks.

We had to try the cupcakes from the Silos Bakery!

We ate at a local place called George's for dinner. Great food, quite the different environment and decor!

The next morning, we headed to Baylor University to check out the campus. Beautiful campus!

Maybe one day we will have a Baylor Bear?

The boys loved seeing the bears!!

Next up was the Dr. Pepper Museum. 

My advice, skip the museum and just enjoy a soda or float!

Last stop was Cameron Park. This park was amazing and we could have spent several days exploring it all. We played, climbed Jacob's ladder, and found the cliff lookout.

I loved spending so many days unplugged with my boys!
