EAT. BEACH. SLEEP. REPEAT.

The summer is winding down, so we enjoyed one last vacation together in Galveston with the Loucks!

The boys and I headed down around lunch time, and Brian joined us just a few hours later.

Brian wasn't even at the beach 30 minutes when Jackson and Justus came to tell me he lost his swim trunks in the ocean!! He dove into a wave and the next thing he knew his shorts were gone!!
I still can't believe it, and the shorts never showed up!

The boys loved being in the waves!

Golf cart riding!
The beach house was like 3 minutes away, so back and forth we went!

Boccie ball competition!

Slumber party for the boys and Rook for the adults!

New shorts!!

Jackson loved hunting and catching crabs!

At one point he had at least 15 crabs in the bucket before we let them go free!

A break from the beach with a water fight!

We can't get enough of the beach or the golf cart!

The beach wore him out!

Sand building fun! Castle empire, whale shark, and a sea turtle!

LOVE!

Always thankful for time with my boys especially surrounded by God's handiwork!

Daddy does anything for his boys!

Proud of his own masterpiece!

God's promises are all around us!

Three cheers for toes in the sand and salt in the hair!

Beach Weekend was a success!!

TAGS

TAGS= Texas Age Groups Swimming

We landed Friday back in Houston, unpacked, grocery shopped, and repacked again for TAGS.
Jackson was asked to swim relays with the 10 year old boys, so off to Austin we headed!

Jackson's first experience at University of Texas!

Group shot after winning GOLD in the 200 Free Relay!

Quick exploration around the State Capital that night.

Ready for Day 2!
Seriously love my swimmer!

Group shot after winning their 2nd GOLD for the 200 Medley Relay! Jackson anchored the race and swam his best 50 Free time. Their team was .7 off the Fleet Record!

SO proud and inspired by his hard work, effort, and determination!

Lunch with his teammates to celebrate being 1st in the state!
Jackson was the only 9 year old from his team at TAGS. Such a huge honor, hopefully he'll be back next year in his own individuals races!
