Thanksgiving Campout 2019

We arrived at Lake Somerville and began setting up our tent. Always thankful for my love!

We put carpet down in our tent this time and it made it cozy and warmer. We also put up a tarp because there was a high percentage of rain, and guess what NO rain. Thank you Jesus!

The weather was beautiful! 

First things, first, boys off on the trails.

Jackson brought his survival book and made a trap.

He did a great job, but no squirrel this time!

Sunday morning was a little bit chilly, but the fire warmed us right up!

We loved all the hiking trails.

So thankful for time to relax and hang out with family and friends.

Lincoln wants a digital watch and Jackson some discs for disc golfing. Sounds like Santa is getting off cheap this year.

Day 331: How blessed am I? A sweet student set up a little meet up with me and some past students. What a great reminder of my “why”! My heart is FULL!❤️

Day 332: Fun night out with my team! We escaped the Special Ops room with 34 seconds to spare!

Day 319: He talked about the book he wanted to get from the Book Fair all weekend. He was super happy to show me it and buy it today! 

Day 320: Golden microphones make every day better!

Day 321: Our car rides are never quite, but it could be the last year Jackson rides with me if he chooses to ride the bus to middle school, so I am going cherish each day!

Day 322: Thankful for a day of learning with some of the other #CFISD_ModelTeachers

Loved getting to hear from Dr. Frank Serafani.
