A sweet birthday surprise!
Almost everyday since Quarantine has started we walk the trails in our neighborhood. A lady has a rock garden outside her fence, and Lincoln likes to stop and look at them every time. He really loved her Blue Jay and Cardinal because he researched about those birds.
I wrote her a letter and left it in the rock garden thanking her for bringing us joy and about how much Lincoln loved her rocks, especially the birds. She reached out to me and wanted to make some for him. He was overjoyed and couldn’t stop smiling, looking at, and talking about them.
