Santa 2014

Ho, ho, NO!
This is our first crying picture, and I kind of love it! Makes me laugh and smile every time I look at it.

Lincoln was happy waiting and looking at Santa, but from the minute we set him down he wanted nothing to do with them. Jackson smiled like always:)

These are the memories we will remember forever!

Christmas This Year

It's beginning to look a lot like... Christmas around here!
We set up our tree and decorations earlier this year than normal. I love how much the boys love the tree and the holiday!

I also love simple touches around the house.

Christmas cards are headed to a mailbox near you.:) No matter way to address them than with a red cup, Christmas tree lights, and football!

The boys picked out their new ornaments for the year. Jackson picked a football, and Lincoln chose Mickey but wanted to hold the football.

Our house is shining bright for Jesus!

#hartzeveryday2014 Week 47

Day 322: After being up half the night, he is finally zonked out! Thankful for neighbors who help out with sick kids.

Day 323: Highlights of my day; sweet notes from students, beautiful weather for the park and no fevers, and Brian cleaned the house for me!

Day 324: He loves his chair, blanket, and Mickey Mouse, and I love him!

Day 325: Jackson had a blast at his first Field Day, and I'm thankful I got to be apart of it all. Loved seeing him with his friends.

Day 326: Someone couldn't wait...we been decorating all day.

Day 327: Pine needles for days, at least we have great helpers.

Day 328: Such a good day with just the right amount of fun with each other and friends. I even went to Ninja School!

A Thankful Heart

"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, His love endures forever." Psalm 118:1

We have so many things to be thankful for! Each day is a gift from God, and I am really trying to live a life of gratitude and find joy in all He has given me.

I am thankful for this week off to rest and spend time with my boys. This world is broken and can cause hurt at any time, but I take such comfort in knowing that He has overcome it all and He deserves all our praise.

"I have told you these things, so in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble, but take I have overcome the wold." John 16:33

Happy Thanksgiving!

#hartzeveryday2014 Week 46

Day 315: Veteran's Day Program at school. He was SO excited to help carry the flag. I love him being at school with me.

Day 316: Had to leave school early with Jackson. It hit him fast and hard.

Day 317: Wearing my favorite scarf and vest paired with a latte can warm up a cold day.
I love a clean baby in footie pajamas, we had to break out the fleece ones. Brr!

Day 318: Loved my 1-1 time with Jackson, just wish it wasn't because he was sick.

Day 319: He had to miss his last game, but the trophy seemed to help!
We spent most of the day inside but needed some fresh air.

Day 320: Thankful we were ALL healthy and able to go to church!

Day 321: Well, we all made it to school for one day. Lincoln now has a fever.:(

Family Pictures

Jonathan, my cousin's husband, was kind enough to take some family pictures for us last weekend.

Let's just say I am thankful for a few smiles from Lincoln. He is not the picture taker that his brother is!

This one was at the end, and Lincoln HAD to have his blanket.

The boys

Just trying to get a smile from Lincoln-love Jackson peeking through

I couldn't love them anymore

So grown up

Thankful he's mine!

LOVE, Love, love this family picture!
I will treasure these pictures forever!

There are a few more but they must stay hidden until Christmas cards are sent out.:)

#hartzeveryday2014 Week 45

Day 308:  "This is the day that The Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!" We are ready for a great day!

Day 309; He is feeding himself so well! I just don't let him do it very often;)

Day 310: Daylight Savings has nothing on us. We are still getting our exercise in!

Day 311: It was a donut and red cup morning! Must mean one thing= Friday!

Day 312: Both of the boys had birthday parties at Monkey Joe's. It was Lincoln's first time. They both had a blast and were worn out! #winwin

Day 313: We attempted family photos before church, all I can say is Lincoln, Lincoln, Lincoln!

Beautiful afternoon at the park- GO PACK GO!

Day 314: Nothing sweeter than this face after work. And just to note, he ate 3 1/2 pieces of French toast for dinner!
