Easter 2016

We had a great Easter weekend celebrating our risen Savior!

Day 78: Don't let his smile and shirt fool you; he's a handful! Still love him to pieces!

Day 81: We're letting them sleep together tonight, hope we don't regret our decision.

(Actually, it went really well and they have done it a few more times.)

Spring Break: The Rest

Spring break was such a great week with the boys.

We started each day by spending time with God!

We rode our bikes around to all the different parks in our neighborhood one day.

Jackson and I created our own Resurrection Eggs for Lincoln.

Jackson did such a good job telling the meaning of each egg to his brother.

Jackson used some birthday money to buy a 1000 piece puzzle. It was a team effort, but we finished it over Spring Break.

Now, I'm ready to spend the summer with my little loves!

Day 71: Had to document Lincoln's first adjustment!

Day 72: Lincoln's been up since 3 ready to go camping!

Off we go, and we are ready for some fun and pudgie pies.:)

Day 75: Bagels at the park on this beautiful morning!

Day 76: Lots of fun with friends, and Lincoln finally liked Monkey Joe's!

Spring Break 2016: Camping Day 3

We couldn't have had better weather. It was absolutely gorgeous!!

Monday morning we woke up, made breakfast, and began packing up. 

Matthew was just the sweetest with Lincoln. 

Lincoln has a new best friend!

Just missing Lance and Carly. 

What a blessing to have some time away in God's creation with my boys and great friends!

We had the very best time!!

Can't wait to go again!

Spring Break 2016: Camping Day 2

The night got cold, but overall we all slept well. Daylight savings time is the best when camping. I wasn't even bother by losing an hour. Time does not play a factor while camping!

Just a morning chat with Paul! Their relationship cracks me up. Lincoln always calls him by his first and last name!

After breakfast, fishing, an Easter egg hunt, and Bible story, it was time for a hike.

Such a nice state park!

Lincoln did really well most of the hike. After an hour of walking and a closed trail he was just tired! By the end of our "short" close to 2 hour hike, I was completely exhausted!

Tarzan! 

We showered, napped, played bocce ball, and found a park to play at.

The rest of the evening the kids fished down on the dock, while we made dinner. They would keep shouting for us to come get their fish. Brian was frying fish as they caught it. We were the only ones catching anything! Hartzlers know how to fish!:)

We ate a late dinner, smores again, and time for bed!
