Day 162: Wonder reminds us God is BIG, and we are small!

Father's Day 2018

We celebrated the Dad we love most!

Jackson and Lincoln made some homemade artwork for Brian. :)

 No other way to start Father's Day than with donuts!

And then, Spring Creek after church!

 We went to see Incredibles 2 with our Incredible dad! :)

Pentathlon

Jackson had the opportunity to swim in the Pentathlon last weekend. He swam a 25 Fly, Back, Breast, Free, and a 100 IM.  

He dropped time in every raced and 2.5 seconds in the IM swimming a 1:19.47!!

He took first place in all his races for 9 year olds. That means he was the Pentathlete!!

We spent one of the first days of summer at SplashWay with our friends!

 Lincoln was happy to hang out with Dax on the small slides and wave pool.

Jackson, Justus, and Xander were off and about on their own. They loved the bigger slides and wave pool!

Day 155: Last Day of Pre-K and ELC! Look how much he has grown!

Day 156: Lincoln was so excited to get his own library cad today!

Day 157: It's really summer now! 

Day 158: Cute breakfast dates!

Day 159: Fridays are for donuts!

 Day 160: After a long, hot day at a swim meet, we ended it with a family game of Monopoly! 

Day 161: A selfie at dinner to celebrate all of Jackson's hard work!

Lake Day!

 After searching for a while, we bought a boat!! Long story short, we bought it in WI, and Brian and Jackson went to pick it up in Kansas from Mel. So, we were finally able to take it out on the water!

We headed to the lake after church.

It was absolutely beautiful out on the water! What a reminder of God's handiwork!

We found a beach to anchor the boat at, and we swam and played in the sand for a while!

 It is not a trip to the lake without ice cream on the way home!

It was hot and sticky, but we had a blast on our first trip to the lake with our boat. Definitely a successful trip!!

Looking forward to making many, many more memories on the lake with my boys!

End of Year Party

Asher's parents threw an end of year party for my students. 

Asher gave me real lei's to wear!

 We danced, ate, and danced some more. 

They did call the students up and some of them spoke about me, and they also presented me with some flowers and a gift.
