Day 99: Cheers to having the best neighbors!

Day 100: Just helping Dad in the garage!

Day 101: Brian turned an old dresser into a book shelf for Lincoln. I love how it turned out!

Day 102: "He is our help and shield! I'm so thankful God has been shielding and protecting Brian each time he passes out. Praying for healing and answers for my love!

Day 103: So thankful Brian's sister is here to watch my boys while I'm in the ER with Brian because he passed out and hit his head at work. I love how God works out all the details!

Day 104: Always thankful for another family picture!

Day 105: Lincoln's first ferry ride, and we even saw a few dolphins.

#hartzeveryday2017 Week 14

Day 92: Quick trip down to Galveston to watch Brian's friend from college finish the IronMan and of course some ice cream from LaKing's!

Day 93: They love getting mail!

Day 94: Always feels good to get a fresh color and cut!

Day 95: Beautiful weather for playing with a friend at the park!

Day 96: Culture project done!

Day 97: "Bike riding is good for my legs and it's exercise." Once he gets to the corner, "my legs hurt!" :)

Day 98: The boys worked hard making a fire pit today, and we all enjoyed their hard work in the evening!

#hartzeveryday2017 Week 13

Day 85: "Collect moments not things!"

Day 86: Monday!!

Day 87: My co-captain! 

I finally gave up caring what I looked like in a bike helmet and am practicing what I preach!

Day 88: Lincoln asks for a group hug every night!

After our pictures tonight he said, "Well, that's marvelous!"

Day 89: I love our drive to school, because no matter how crazy our morning is at home it helps focus my heart on Him! I pray over the boys and they say verses they know or we are working on hiding in our hearts. Lincoln added a new one this week that he learned in Sunday school. "Love one another."

It's a great reminder for me as well! 

Day 90: Celebrating Jackson tonight! SO proud of how he shows kindness to others at school and his hard work!

Day 91: Thankful for these friends to serve with and do life together!!

#hartzeveryday2017 Week 12

Day 78: Loved every minute of Spring Break with these boys!

Day 79: Jackson made a cajon for his Science project with Brian. He is really enjoying playing it, maybe a future drummer?

Day 80: This cup has made me smile all morning and has me repeating Matthew 5:16 in my head. "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

Day 81: It's our favorite season!

Day 82: Jackson is still 100% for his height at 4 feet 8.25 inches! They are projecting him to be a minimum of 6'5. Thankful for a healthy boy!

Day 83: Family game night! Apples to Apples and Lincoln kept winning! :) 

 Day 84: Perfect night to eat out on the patio!

Brazos Bend State Park

Over Spring Break we went with my parents and Aunt Midge to Brazos Bend State Park.

We went in the Nature Center after we ate lunch and the boys got to pet a little alligator and a snake.

When we left the center, Jackson said "I'm so glad we came. This is so interesting." 

Headed out on our hike to look for alligators.

Brian ran up the tree and the boys followed suit!

We found some alligators, 29 in all on our hike!!

It was so cool to see them and a little freaky too!

Day 71: They made it! We're excited to spend the week with them!

Day 72: Got to meet up with my love for coffee, Costco, and lunch after my doctor appointment! Love time with him!

Day 73: Beautiful day at Brazos Bend State Park!

 Day 74: Selfie at the park! I love these guys!

Day 75: We made mint brownies for St. Patty's day but couldn't wait to eat them!

Day 76: Movie with the boys and Pedicures with the girls!

Day 77: Great morning! Love that I can work my business from literally anywhere!
