Fun activities all throughout the month of December:

The boys and I began Christmas set up the beginning of Christmas break, and we started a new tradition of wearing our matching pajamas from last Christmas while decorating.

Love all the memories that come with each ornament, Christmas card, and Santa picture!

New ornaments:

Lincoln picked a donut because no one loves sweets more than him!

Jackson chose a baseball for the Astros' Champion Season.

Baking and decorating Christmas cookies.

Lincoln loved frosting and putting on sprinkles!

Spreading Christmas cheer and delivering Christmas cards and cookies to the neighbors!

Christmas break writing/crafts!

Making Gingerbread houses!

Lincoln and I worked together, and Brian and Jackson created their own.

Lincoln's Christmas program was TOO cute!!

He did not disappoint, I could have watched him all night!

Houston SNOW

Can you believe it SNOWED in Houston???

Neither can we!!!

The boys were so excited to wake up Friday (December 8th) to a snow covered lawn!

We threw a few snowballs and made a snowman before we got too cold! :)

Beautiful drive to work that morning!!

And a little SNOW fun at school!

It was the perfect amount of snow, and we had the best time enjoying our Houston miracle!

Day 343: Baking Christmas cookies together!

Day 344: Love how Lincoln's gift turned out! Hope he cherishes it forever1

Day 345: Jackson's first choir performance!

Day 346: I told Lincoln to hurry and get his jacket because I had tutoring this morning. He dropped to the ground laughing because I was going toot-ering!

Day 347: Swim! It's what we do!

Day 348: Such a special morning with these students I was privileged to teach for two years! They bring such joy to my heart and blessed me more than they will ever now!

Day 349: Brian made a custom Bass Cookie Cake with a whopper plopper and all for our friend Steve!

Day 336: The boys picked out their ornaments for the year!
Jackson-baseball for the Astro's big win
Lincoln- donut because he loves everything sweet

Day 337: Special package arrived from Grandma
"I've been waiting my whole life for these Legos."

Day 338: Cold outdoor practice tonight!

Day 339: We skipped swim practice and read by the Christmas tree instead!

Day 340: "Snow in Houston for history sake" is what Jackson said!
They both were excited they saw some snow, and were even more surprised with what we woke up to on Friday!!

Day 341: No heat downstairs means movie night in our bedroom!!

The other night our fire alarms went off, and I got the boys out quickly! Brian stayed to assess the situation, and we realized the smell was coming from our furnace. We turned off the gas and good thing we did. The electrical/heating company that came out today say we need a whole new system and the old one is unsafe to operate! Thank you Jesus for keeping us safe!!

Day 342: Santa!

Lincoln wants a giant teddy bear with a Santa hat, and Jackson wants an iPad. :)

Day 330: I was doing laundry, never ending laundry from camping, and I came out to Lincoln cleaning the kitchen floor with hand soap! He sure was enjoying himself and sing away!!

Day 331: Christmas cards!!

Day 332: One is super silly and always making us laugh! The other is more serious, always reading and creating something! One is a charmer, and the other is a pleaser! One is rough and tough, and one is super sensitive! They both love each other deeply and care about others!

Both make me love hard, go a little crazy, and pray more than ever! I pray they always love, serve, and follow Jesus!
