18 Months

At ONE an a half here are some things Jackson loves, likes, and dislikes!

He LOVES:
*Thomas the train- He loves to play with his trains on the track, carry them around and say "choo-choo", and watching Thomas. Each day when we get home after school, he runs right to the living room grabs the remotes and wants Thomas turned on.

*Popsicles- He eats no less than 2 (sugar-free) popsicles a day. He know they are in the freezer and will pull on the door saying "popsicle". Once the door is open, which he has opened a few times, he grabs his popsicle and takes it to his spot on the couch.

*Brushing his teeth- Each night we march up the stairs and I brush his teeth before bed. In the morning while I get ready he brushes he teeth on his own.

*Books- He will sit and look at his books for a long time. As he is reading them he will laugh, point, and talk to the pictures. The teacher in me loves this. For a while he didn't like me reading them to him, but now again he sits, listens, and turns the pages.

*Food- He is definately not a picky eater. He eats exactly what we are having for dinner. He is a snacker and would eat all day if we would let him. He loves opening the pantry doors and bringing us food he wants to eat. His favorite from the pantry is "cracker".

*Hugs and kisses- He loves to give us tight squeezes and big wet kisses.

*The Pool and the Park- Some things just never change!

*Helping Out- He loves to throw away trash, put his laundry away, give me my brush and blow dryer in the morning, and turn off lights. He does not like when things are not where they should be.

He LIKES:
*Shoes- He has a pair for every outfit!(Grandma would you take me to the park in my boots?)
*Going to Miss Sandy's- He has done a really good job of adjusting back to daycare. He plays well with the other 2 kids.

*Giving High Fives- Each day before we leave Miss Sandy's everyone must get a high five. He loves to give them to you if you ask.

*Talking- He is saying more words everyday and repeating what we say. Some new words this month were; blocks, cheese, taco, bird, pool, go, look, hot dog, water, shoes, socks, shirt, all gone, where, more. He can say a lot of different things he just says them when he wants and never when we want him to say it to someone.

He DISLIKES:
*Not getting his own way- He has had to sit in time out a few time this month.

*French fries- At Chick-fil-a he prefers fruit over them and most fries he will only take a bite or two of them.

*Some Loud noises- We never know what will scare him.

Jackson Oliver we LOVE everything about you!
