The Men In My Life

In Sunday school today, we had to make a list of things we liked about our spouses. This made me think about the other men in my life. God has surrounded with some great men, who I have learned many things from. These men are not perfect in any way, but all seek to lead their families and love the Lord.

My Dad is a man:
-who loves his family deeply
-works very hard to provide for his family
-lives his life to honor God
-always lends a helping hand
-has a quiet time every morning
-prays with his children
-doesn't care what others think of him
-is passionate about trucks and farming
-spoils his daughters:)
-very humble
-and many other noble things

My Father-in-law is a man:
-loves to worship the Lord through music
-that is passionate to lead others to the Lord
-who is a master carpenter and shares his talents with others
-loves his family
-gives good advice
-and many more things

My Husband is a man:
-who also loves to worship the Lord through music
-who is seeking to know God more each day
-who has a sense of humor and makes me laugh daily
-who is always easy going and relaxed
-that can bargain like no other:)
-that seeks to lead our family each day
-that prays for our family
-who puts my needs before his own
-who tries to open my car door every time we are in the car
-who is going to be a Great dad
-always cheers me up
-and many more

Hopefully My Son will be a man:
-who accepts Christ as his Lord and Savior
and
-who is a combination of the 3 great men listed above!

Jackson,
Your dad and I will raise you the best we can with God as our guide. We will surround you with people who love and encourage you and people who are Godly examples. We can't wait to meet you and see the personality you will have.
Proverbs 22:6 "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it."
