Brian's parents arrived Friday night. Of course as soon as Papa and Grandma came we were chop liver!
Saturday morning, we went out for breakfast and then headed over to Gander Mountain. Jackson remembered Papa said he would take him fishing. In order to go fishing, you need a fishing pole. Jackson picked out a Spiderman one and wouldn't let it go. Another plus to having a pool in your back yard is that you can practice casting!Learning from the fish master himself
Getting the hang of it!
At some point before Jackson's nap it started to rain. Jackson was so excited! He had to get his umbrella, and rain boots on so he could go play in the rain.
He even convinced Grandma to come out.
Sharon and I enjoyed a relaxing pedicure while the boys did some other things. My feet always feel brand new afterwards!
The rain but a damper on our plans of going downtown to the Aquarium. But, we couldn't be upset because we were so excited that we were getting rain! Instead we got ready and headed out to the mall.
We ate at The Rain Forest Cafe and Jackson was easily entertained by all the animals and action going on. Brian and I did a little shopping while Jackson rode the train and carousel with Papa and Grandma.
This morning we woke up the glorious sound of RAIN! We got up and got ready for Church. We enjoyed lunch at McAlister's and came home to a Sunny sky.
Jackson is LOVING all the attention he is getting. I am pretty sure he will be real spoiled by the time they leave.
