Baby Dedication

Last Sunday was Baby Dedication at our Church. We dedicated Lincoln to the Lord in front of our faith family.
We snapped a few pictures of him before we went to Church.
LOVE this boy to pieces!
We are so blessed!
Pastor David reminded us of the important calling we have in our children's lives.
They played a video of the prayer we had recorded for our children. It was sweet and made the dedication more personal.
Lincoln was a bit fussy on stage, but found Jacob next to him and was consoling him. They go to daycare together. So cute!
We are so thankful for our boys and pray that both of them come to know the Lord as their personal Lord and Savior, live boldly for Him, and use their talents to honor Him. We have the best and most challenging job as their parents and pray that God would give us wisdom as we guide and direct them daily.
I pray daily by boys will "act justly, love mercy and  walk humbly with their God."

More Howlin' Fun

We spent three days at the Great Wolf Lodge.
It was nice to have my parents with to watch Lincoln so we could go on some rides together.

Lincoln was all smiles in the water. He sat in the shallow water with a ring of fountains around him
splashing. He made several friends!
 My little fishy
Jackson was so proud that he was tall enough for all the rides. He even went down some by himself!!

Lincoln didn't sleep real well in the hotel room, but could fall asleep anywhere in his stroller...even the loud, bright arcade.

Last thing on the Paw Pass was a tattoo!

The whole group before leaving the resort.

Pit stop on the way home
Lincoln was happy to get out of his car seat:)
We had a great time and were exhausted when we left, and Jackson is asking when we can go back!!

Great Wolf Lodge

We spent the beginning of Spring Break at the Great Wolf Lodge.
Someone was excited! He had a countdown on his calendar.
My parents met us at the Resort.

Lincoln loved the water.

The indoor waterpark had 2 big tube rides and 3 smaller tub rides. Jackson LOVED them all and went on them multiple times a day. Kate had no fear and Garrison went on big tube rides once.

Jackson and Garrison with their Paw Pass and Wolf Ears.

The Paw Pass let the boys do a little bit of everything at the hotel. One thing they got to do is create an animal. Jackson made Oliver.

Daddy and Jackson were buddies at the water park

The boys also colored a shirt, played games in the arcade, went on a magic quest, and went to story time.

Ten Months of Lincoln

Here we are at 10 months!
Lincoln now has 6 teeth, 4 on top and 2 on the bottom.
He has 2 more trying to make their way through on the bottom.
He still weighs right around 20 pounds and is 30 inches long. He is wearing 9-12/12-18 months in clothes and now size 4 in diapers.
We had another ear infection this month and some teething, but overall he has been sleeping well. He begins to get fussy around 7:30 and is usually asleep by 8:00 and will sleep until around 5:30/6:00. Just this week he started sleeping better at school. At home he takes 2-3 naps a day.
Lincoln is eating more solids but still likes his baby food. He has tried chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, banana muffins, graham crackers, Greek yogurt, and cereal bars. He is drinking less breast milk throughout the day. I think we have another good eater on our hands!
He is still not crawling, but gets where he wants and what he wants. He gets up on his knees and tries to pull himself. He loves to stand and play. He waves "hi" and "bye" and cries anytime I walk out of the room.

Lincoln,
How are you only 2 months away from being one? I feel like we were just getting ready to meet you, and now I am planning your birthday party. You are so much fun. I love watching you try to figure new things out; you are so determined.  Being outside makes you very happy!  I am looking forward to spending all of Spring Break playing with you.  I love you more than monkeys love bananas!

Day 64:  I had taken the day off to go with Brian to his heart appt and spend the day with just Jackson, but Lincoln woke up with a 103 fever. Thankful for already having the day off and a great report for Brian! God is always at work!
Day 65: Bike riding and playing with Justus...that's all Jackson wants to do!

Day 66: Go Texan Day at the boys school

Day 67: We spent most of Saturday outside. He wishes he could keep up with the big boys!

Day 68: We had a great Sunday at church, a friend's birthday party, and being together. Yes, he's a mamma's boy!
