New York Day 4

This was our last full day in New York.
Starbucks was to the right of our hotel and this great bagel place was to the left! Our breakfast almost everyday, so yummy!
We decided to take the Subway one more time and go inside the 9/11 Museum.
This was the fire station closest to the site.

Inside the museum, the survivor stairs
The museum was such a touching remembrance to those that died and a very sombering experience for us.
Pieces from the Towers that they recovered.
 By the Numbers
We spent about 2.5 hours in the museum and could have easily spent more.

Next, we went up the One World Observatory. It had 102 floors, the tallest building in the western hemisphere.
 Amazing views

Then, we stopped for dessert! SO Delicious!
Last stop on the Subway was to the American Museum of National History!

One final stroll through Central Park. It was probably my favorite part of New York, and we didn't explore half of it.

Our NY trip started when we bought tickets to David Crowder and Mercy Me.
It was finally showtime!
Walking to dinner at Pasta Lovers.
The iconic Radio City Music Hall
 Ready for the show!
Some old ladies behind us were booing us and asked us to sit down, but we kept standing and worshipping!
Micah Tyler, David Crowder, and Mercy Me was all incredible! Excellent show!

New York Day 3

We were up early on Monday morning to head to Live with Kelly and Ryan!

We left our hotel at 6:35am and were afraid we weren't early enough. We had tickets but they were general seating. People that showed up with priority tickets got to go in front of us.

Ryan came outside to tape a promo video while we were waiting. The girls behind me asked for a picture and he stopped. He was walking away, and Brian yelled "Ryan, can we get a picture here?"
And, he stopped, Can you believe it?!?!?!
Ahhh, I can't!

We were able to get in, but had to sit in the balcony. We could see and hear everything wonderfully. Ryan and Kelly were great! Jenny McCarthy and Nina Dobrev were the guests for the live show.
They ended up taping a few extra guests as well. So, we saw Jimmy Smitts and Kelly's husband, Mark Consuelos. We were able to move down for that, but honestly we could hear and see better from the balcony.

Such a FUN morning!!
So glad we decided to get tickets and go.

From the studio, we headed to The Smith for lunch and everything was delicious. I loved the outdoor patio.

We spent the rest of the afternoon being tourists. We went to Rockefeller Plaza, The Lego Store, shopping on 5th Street,
NBC Studios, Macy's on 34th Street,

FAO Schwartz,

and took in all the sights as we walked around!

We took a break in Central Park.

Easily one of my most favorite places in New York City.
We didn't even make it more than 1/4 of the way through Central Park.

We had dinner and dessert at Juniors. What a cupcake!!

It only rained this night and we shopped for souvenirs for the boys.
Another great (30,000 step) day in New York!! Definitely living the dream! :)

New York Day 2

Day 2 was full of walking and sightseeing!

We decided to give the Subway a try, and I'm so glad we did!
(Also, there was a Starbucks right next to our hotel! Glorious!)
First time on the Subway! It was Sunday morning and compared to the rest of the week hardly anyone was on the Subway this day.
We could easily navigate the Subway thanks to our phones. Without these directions, we would have been lost.

We stopped first at the 9/11 Memorial.
 Fountains where the Towers stood
 Survivor's Tree
Then, we walked over to Battery Park to see the Statue of Liberty. We opted against taking the Ferry for a closer view.

Quick stop for a hot dog from the street vendors.

We hopped on the Subway and went to see the Brooklyn Bridge.

It was really crowded on the bridge due to a Cancer walk that was going on.

So beautiful and so much history!

Next up, the Empire State Building

and Grand Central Station.
I loved walking all around and taking in the sights!

Ray's Pizza was delicious.

Times Square-always something interesting to see here!

It always seemed like daytime in and around Times Square with all the lights and noise.

We loved Aladdin so much so we decided to buy tickets to another Broadway show.
Unfortunately, it was so disappointing. We left after the second song because of the suggestive dress of the women. It made me upset to know we wasted a bunch of money, but also proud of us for standing up for what we believe in.

30,000 steps and a awesome day later we put our feet up and went to sleep!
