Saturday morning we went out for breakfast, which is a rare treat for us! Jackson couldn't wait to get kolaches. He kept calling for them in the car. He ate 2 all by himself!

We had lunch at my Aunt and Uncle's house. She was having a "kitchen tour" party to show of her new kitchen. It looks awesome! Then I finished up some end of the year items for school while Jackson napped.
I was going to go the easy route of frozen meals for dinner but I got inspired at the last minute and made some yummy chicken kabobs with pineapple and onions. Brian and the naked chef grilled our meal:)
Sunday morning we overslept but still managed to get to church get in time for service. I spent the second hour with Jackson in the nursery. I was reminded why I only help every other week- way too many crying kids in a little room. Jackson is such a ham when I am in there. I wonder if he acts like that when I am not there?

While Jackson was supposed to be napping Brian tended to the lawn and pool and I did laundry and dishes.
Since Jackson wasn't giving in we got him up, went to the Splash Pad, and hung out in the pool the rest of the afternoon!
I am looking forward to this life in 7 days:) Jackson practiced his swimming and jumping in. Miss Kylie has really helped him do more in the water than just sit and play on the steps!

You must put it on your menu this week! I promise you will thank me!
Simply place frozen chicken in crock pot. Combine 1 1/2 cups of honey BBQ sauce with 3/4 cup of Italian dressing and 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Pour over chicken. Cook on high for 4 hours. Shred chicken with fork and indulge!
