Here are a few pictures of our time with them:

Papa and Grandma

This is a bit overdue, but better late than never!
Here are some pictures with Papa and Grandma from their time here in January.

Playing with Gella and Jella:)

Sunday morning doughnuts with Papa

The hard part of living far away is not getting to spend much time with our families. We are thankful we get to see them as much as we do. And, just 7 days until we see my parents!

Life With Papa and Grandma

Papa Mel and Grandma Sharon spent the last week and a half with us.

They got to meet Lincoln for the first time.

Brian and I went to see Internship and got out several nights by ourselves.
Papa, Brian, and Jackson did some fishing. Unfortunately, Jackson caught a bigger fish at Bass Pro.
Jackson swam twice a day with Papa and Grandma.
A few trips to Menchies,
 and good eats.
Boys trip to Monsters University in 3D.
And lots and lots more!
We are so thankful for your help and love.

Time Together

This week has flown by!

Jackson has enjoyed playing with Papa and Grandma and going to preschool a little late and leaving early. We have been enjoying a lot of time outside swimming and at the park. We are also being blessed by a clean house, dinner, and laundry and yard work being done for us!
One trip to Menchies after Jackson's baseball practice
Brian and I enjoyed a date day on Saturday. We enjoyed shopping and lunch out together!
While we were gone, Papa took Jackson fishing. They dug up their own worms.
 Not much luck.
Caught one little fish, but not big enough to keep.
Jackson was upset because he wanted to eat fish for lunch. So, they took him to Long John Silver. Ha!

Beach Day

Brian's parents arrived late Saturday night. After sleeping in Sunday morning we headed down to the beach. It was a beautiful day, despite the wind.

We set up the tent at the beach which helped block a lot of the wind.
Jackson had earned a kite for earning enough smiley faces on his behavior chart. He couldn't wait to try it out!
Since it was quite windy he needed Papa and Daddy helped. The penquin is flying way up high.
Yay!
After flying the kite, Brian and Jackson played in the water. The water was as warm as the air outside.
He sure does love the water!
Can you believe we have been together half our lives?!?!
We ended our time at the beach playing in the sand.
Jackson kept digging and filling up the bucket to dump water into his pool.
Papa and Grandma traded 37 degrees and snow for 73 degrees and sun. Good choice!
After the beach, we drove over to The Strand for some ice cream at the Old Fashion Palor.

And a few pictures by the red telephone booth.
Brian and I have a few pictures in front of here, but none with Jackson or a big belly.
What a fun way to spend a beautiful day!

Snapshots

Just a few more pictures, mostly from my iPhone, of Papa and Grandma's time here.

One night I had curriculum night at school. Brian, Jackson, and Sharon brought me Chick-fil-a for dinner. Jackson had to play in my room and have Grandma read to him.
One of the main reason for their visit was to fix up their rental house. Jackson was racing cars outside that house one night while Papa and Daddy worked.
 Dinner at Fuddruckers
It is hard to get a decent picture of Jackson these days, he just want to be silly in every picture.
We made many trips to the park (and Menchies) with them.
Whole group shot, notice the silly face below:)
 LOVE him!
Last night at dinner

Papa and Grandma were able to pick Jackson up from preschool early a few days and spent their nighst playing doctor and demolition together.

Until next time...

The End of Their Stay

Mel and Sharon left Wednesday evening. But, we couldn't have Mel leave without completing a project! Even we a bad shoulder he managed to assemble a fort/sand box for Jackson in less than 3 days. Jackson, of course, was a big help!
Complete pics coming soon!

Jackson loved playing and doing his own thing all day with Papa and Victor , I mean, Grandma. (Jackson was Kevin, a crane from Thomas and Grandma was Victor, a train from Thomas all week.)

We enjoyed some yummy frozen yogurt the night before they left.

Thank you for coming to see us, spoiling us, and loving on Jackson all week! We hope you are enjoying the cold temps in WI
