Lincoln had surgery last Wednesday. He had to have a hypospadias done. We were downtown at the Children's Hospital by 6:00am. Our neighbors watched Jackson so he didn't have to sit there with us.
We tried to keep him occupied playing and his mind off eating. Not the easiest thing to do with a 12 month old!
We prayed over Lincoln before they took him back. He left screaming as they carried him away from us. That was an awful feeling, my hurt broke! So thankful we don't spend a majority of our days here.
The surgery only lasted 1 hour and he was doing well after surgery. He drank 10 ounces of milk, and then fussed until they unhooked him and let me walk around with him.
Once we were in the car (by 11 o'clock) and he had his goldfish, then he was happy. A boy needs his food!
He was so funny on the way home, laughing like crazy!
His procedure looks awful, but it doesn't seem to be bothering him at all. Praise Jesus! The hardest is going to be keeping him out of the pool for 3 weeks.
Thank you for your prayers!
