This is the sweet girl we are sponsoring through
Compassion International. I have wanted to do this for a long time, and I am not sure what has stopped me. Maybe, the fact that I am a control freak with money. I know how blessed we are and am so thankful all God has provided for us. I just knew it was time to put God's money to use for someone who really needs it. So, at the beginning of this summer we did it! We also have the privilege of praying for her and her family. Through the little bit we give each month Clao has the opportunity to learn, receive nutritious meals, and get regular health screening and medial treatment.
There are so many children that need sponsoring. It was so hard to choose just one. We ended up picking one with Jackson's birthday so we would have something in common with them. We received our first letter from her this last week. I can't wait to get to know her better.
I am hoping that at Christmas time we can bless her and her family even more by giving to her instead of buying things for our families. I am praying that Jackson will also learn about the importance of giving and helping out others at a very young age.
