Astros Playoff Game

Brian woke up Saturday morning and said let's go to the Astro's game, so off to the game for his birthday we went!

It was the last game of the ALCS against the Yankees!
Lincoln stayed home and went to Chuck E Cheese with Papa and Grandma and he was just as thrilled!

The street party was incredible! They had a drum line, face painting, balloon artists, photo booths, food, games!

We went to the game with some friends with the inside to parking and the Astros!:)

So excited to be here!

Great seats in right field, row 7. Jackson was hoping for a home run ball. Altuve's went one section to the left of us!

Jackson cheered the whole game, and I mean cheered! It was so fun experiencing the game with him and through a child's perspective!

Love this souvenir!

ASTROS WIN!!!!!!!

This playoff game was like no other Astro game we have ever been at. The atmosphere inside the stadium was incredible! We were part of history!

We watched the Pig Races!

#hartzeveryday2017 Week 41

Day 280: Not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Day 281: Swimming with Papa!!
(I cracked up when I came home from school and saw Mel wearing my R+F hat!)

Day 282: Lincoln’s favorite book lately has been Duck on a Bike! He thinks it is so funny that Duck can ride a bike and do tricks on it. At the end it shows Duck by a tractor and Lincoln predicted Duck would drive the tractor next.
Well, to my surprise when ordering books through Scholastic for my students I found Duck on a Tractor!! I was SO excited to give it to him today!!!

Day 283: Jackson loves when Papa takes him to swim practice because Papa thinks he needs protein (AKA Church’s chicken strips) after his workout!!!

Day 284: Date Night!!

Day 285: Back row readers :)

Day 286: Another soccer game win!
These 2 took on the other team all by themselves!

Caramel Apples

Growing up in Wisconsin, we always went to The Little Farmer. They have the best caramel apples and during the fall I always want one.

We attempted our own the other night!

Not quite as pretty, but they were super yummy!!

We will definitely be making some more this year!
