Pine Cove in the City

Jackson spent a week with Pine Cove in the City with his friend Justus.
His counselor was Swings!

Despite the rain all week, they were able to still do all the fun activies outside.

The counselors were great and SO full of energy!

Jackson wants to go to sleep away camp next year!

Jackson and Justus :)

"Swings" and Jackson
He was a great role model for Jackson, and reminded them daily to Men of God and that God must be there rock and firm foundation to get them through life!

Character Qualities- These are the words that Swings noticed in Jackson this week.
I love this and agree 100%!
Praying the words and truths he learned this week will stay and transform his heart!

#hartzeveryday2018 Week 25

Day 169: Dropped Jackson off for Day 1 of Pine Cove Camp in the city, and Lincoln and I made Puppy Chow.

Day 170: We swam in between the rain storms!

Day 174: Cards after a long, hot day of swimming.

#hartzsummer18...Day to Day

Love the "normal" summer day to day activies with these boys! I'm reminding myself to cherish each day as they pass far to quick!

We started summer with some learning; 5 sense poem and Mr. Potato Head for Lincoln and some comparing and contrasting for Jackson!

Jackson and I finished book 1 and watched the movie together!

Someone got his own library card!!

So exciting!

Every Tuesday we go get new ones!

He talked me into buying him the airplane! :)

Dropping donuts off to Daddy!

Bowling!!

Reading incentives! We love free books!

Nothing better than a few hours with these ladies!

Summer Swim 2018

The regular season for summer swim is over, and Lincoln couldn't be happier!

We are super proud of Lincoln for making it through the meets and all the practice!

He didn't really drop any time this season, but we are just happy he had fun and was apart of the team! His best was 47 seconds for 25 Free and 55 seconds for 25 Back.

However, he did like all the food, treats, and iPad time!

My swimmers!!

Jackson had an incredible season! Dropping time almost every week in every stroke!

Just like my brother! :)

Cuteness is the theme for Lincoln!

We were so glad Xander and Justus swam with us this year!

Cutest swimmers around!!

Divisional Meet!
Jackson swam a 13.5 25 Free! Hit his goal of going under 14 seconds!
So proud of him!

Awards Night! Jackson earned highest 9-10 boys award with the most points on the whole team!
What a fun season! Proud of these boys!

#hartzsummer18 Butterfly Garden

I took the boys to the Butterfly Garden at the Science Museum.

The boys loved the artifacts, live animals, and displays before the garden.

Explores! :)

The gardens were beautiful!

Jackson couldn't get enough of the butterflies landing on him!

So many pretty butterflies!

Another one!

On his hand and in my hair!

We loved being in the middle of God's wonder!

So many different varieties of butterflies and all so beautiful!
We loved the time we spent in the Butterfly Garden! I think the boys would definitely go back! It was neat to be surrounded by God's creation and to think about his power!
