Capture the Moment- December Part IIII

Finishing break off strong!
Coffee with Aunt Midge for her breakfast

My cute lunch dates
Jackson learned how to change oil!
Lincoln loves training at Max Speed. He needs to get in shape for football!

New Year Eve picture tradition
Fireworks with neighbors

From first tattoos, camping trips, baptism, church camps, swim meets, football games, date nights, vacations, family and friends, to a new job for Brian it’s been a great year!
We always remember and focus on the good days, but lots of days did included tears, fears, and extra prayers. But, God! This year He has taught me what is unexpected to us can be His biggest blessings in our lives.
Let’s continue to praise, thank, and serve Him this year because He is worthy!

More fireworks!!
Games with friends

The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” Isaiah 40:8
Jackson and I read the Bible in a year!
I’m so proud of him for his desire to read God’s word. Every morning, he would eat his breakfast and read the Bible(he used mine from last year). He made it a priority and finished! This is my second year to read through the Bible, and I learned so much using the The Bible Recap with @taraleighcobble. I highly recommend using that plan and listening to her podcast each day.

We both got new one year Bibles to read and hold one another accountable. Our new year goal; grow closer to Jesus because He’s where the JOY is!

Capture the Moment- December - Christmas Festivities

Christmas Eve- we dressed up for Christmas Eve service
Thankful for Aaron and all his help with Jackson this year!
A light shines in the darkness, His name is Jesus.f

Family matching pajamas=one of my favorite Christmas traditions!
This years are also a gift for the boys; FAMILY trip to New York City in January.

We enjoyed a "fancy" Christmas Eve dinner according to Lincoln. Steaks, Costco mac and cheese, fruit, and veggies.

The boys always open each other gifts on Christmas Eve.
Lincoln is the best to give gifts to! He is genuinely happy and gives a hug after each gift.

Kissing his gift :)
Money for the teenager

The only thing Jackson asked for was the Harry Potter Lego Castle, and we surprised Lincoln and he loved his dirt bike.

New year long Bibles to read together
Christmas morning

We had to get out and try out the dirt bike right away! So thankful for these boys, they are my greatest gifts!

Aunt Midge had us over for lunch. She always has the best games!

JOY to the world, the Lord has come!

Capture the Moment- December Part III

Baking Christmas cookies with Jackson
Lincoln living his best life with our neighbors
At the beginning of December I told Brian, I have never been to the ballet and wanted to see the Nutcracker sometime. He surprised me with tickets (and an outfit), and we loved the show! It was beautiful!

Favorite things party with the Dream Team-we had so much fun playing games, eating, and talking!
Gingerbread Houses
Jackson and I were a team and were going for a treehouse. His hexagonal base design was solid!
Look at all our details!

Brian and Lincoln were going for a high rise with a walk way and ended up with the House of Broken Dreams. Ha!

Another favorite tradition; Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt!
Brian drives us around as we look at lights, mark off our finds, and drink our hot chocolate.
Lincoln inisited I sit in the middle in the back, and I'm so glad I did!
Breakfast pick up on the way from a swim practice! We all survived 17 practices over Christmas break!

All three of us in the car in the morning before school! Nothing happen very often this year.
Sunday School Christmas Party; dress as your spouse's favorite hobby
I love to read, he loves to fish!
He is so creative!
Winners!!

White elephant gift we brought to the party; was a shirt with our high school picture.
Glory to God in the Highest! Today marks 2 years since Brian’s open heart surgery to fix his aneurysm. We had a great day together celebrating God’s goodness with one of our favorite Christmas traditions; ice skating and the Chocolate Bar!
It was a really warm December. The ice was full of water, but there was not many people there.
We had so much fun!
Dinner downtown followed by
the Chocolate Bar!
